Baby Socks – Babysocken

A little and very quick project, perfect for using up leftover yarn.

I used a free Drops pattern (the Danish pattern can be found here).

This was surely not the first and not the last pair of baby socks I knitted using this pattern. 🙂

Wool frenzy – Wollrausch

The yarn store Wadils on Vesterbrogade is closing down (dear Copenhagener, do not despair: they keep their shop in Valby) and have 50% discount on everything. EVERYTHING.

I bought my first silk yarn today and I’m so excited to try it out!

My boyfriend’s reaction when he saw me with the bag filled with yarn:
“Wow, you spent a lot of money on yarn, I see.”
A big smile spread across my face when I smugly countered:
“You got it all wrong, honey. Today I SAVED a lot of money on yarn.” 🙂

Wadils Garnladen hier in Kopenhagen hat Schlussverkauf und hat 50% auf alles. Also restlos ALLES.

Da hab ich doch glatt heute mein erstes Seidengarn gekauft und kann es kaum erwarten, Maschen damit anzuschlagen!

Die Reaktion von meinem Freund als er mich mit der gefüllten Tüte sah: “Boah, hast du wieder Geld für Wolle ausgegeben.”
Da hab ich nur ganz dreimalklug gegrinst und ihm entgegnet:
“Nein Schatz, du hast das komplett missverstanden. Heute hab ich viel Geld GESPART!” 🙂 

The blue yarn combination will become a sweater/cardigan. – Aus der blauen Garnkombi wird ein Pulli/Jäckchen.

The yellow silk yarn will somehow be used to tie some of my yarn leftovers together. – Das gelbe Seidengarn wird irgendwie dazu benutzt, um ein paar Reste zu verarbeiten.
