Little Fat Whale – Der kleine dicke Wal
On Instagram I have been teasing my followers with a little mystery project. I just showed them the three colours (white, blue and light pink), said that this was for my boyfriend and had them guess what it was. There were some good guesses, but most of all I received wondering questions like “Pink? For a guy? What could that…
Instagram Recommandation – Instagramempfehlung
Paula Strickt on Instagram – check her out. She takes beeeautiful pictures and has just posted a little free acorn pattern (in German only, but maybe you can guess your way out of it – it’s really not complicated). So festive and the perfect thing for decorating your presents. Or to hang in the Christmas tree. Or to decorate your…

Love at First Sight – Liebe auf den ersten Blick
I’ve fallen in love – yet again.
The other day Brooklyn Tweed published Wool People 8. And again there are so many gorgeous patterns!
I think I’ll have to quit my day job and just stay at home knitting. Not sure what my bank account or my boyfriend would say to that, but who needs money or a boyfriend if you have some absolutely gorgeous garments to knit?!
My favourites are (in that order):
Any of this that you would like to knit?

List of 10 Green Knitting Projects – Liste der 10 grünen Strickprojekte
Yesterday was the first day that felt a little bit like autumn – it was a little chilly biking to work in the morning, the light was different and the air had this distinct smell of autumn – ever so slightly. Somehow the weather in Denmark got it all wrong: It’s still August!
But I refuse to be dragged into autumn mode yet (even though I quite like autumn) and had an urge for lush green colours.
Above you find inspiration for some gorgeous knitting projects – big and small – all in beautiful shades of green.

Anna Sudo’s Miri Cowl
This cowl has been a true pleasure to knit. I have mostly been knitting it on my way to work when the weather was bad, so it took a little longer. The pattern is easy enough to be watching TV or listening to podcasts/audio books at the same time, but not too simple to get boring.
You can find the pattern here on Ravelry.
Anna, if you ever read this: Thank you for this lovely pattern. I absolutely adored it and cannot wait for winter to come, so I can finally wear the cowl!
